Storage and Use of Your Data
When you visit SRB.at and its sub-sites our webserver stores the following items automatically (server log files):
- Website visited
- Time of accessing
- Amount of data being sent
- Source/link you used to visit our site
- Browser used
- Operating system used
- IP-address
This information is needed to ensure the correct technical transmittal of the websites, the safe operation of the server, to be able to resolve cases of abuse for instance (processing in accordance with Article 6 par. 1 let. F DSGVO).
Log files are saved and deleted after 6 months. The data will neither be merged with other data sources, nor will a personalized selection be done. In case data must be kept for purposes of proof they are exempted from deletion until the incident is solved.
Handling of personal data
Personal data is any information that identifies you. This information includes your name, address, and email address. To visit SRB.at no personalized data has to be disclosed. But in some cases, we may need your name and address as well as further information to be able to offer you the requested services. In these cases, you always will be informed. Only the data you submit automatically and voluntarily will then be saved.
When you contact us per email or by contact form, your submitted data will only be used to process your query and will be stored in cases of follow-up questions for six months. These data will not be transmitted to third parties without your permission and will be handled strictly confidential.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files, which – when you visit our web sites – can be retrieved from an internet server by a browser and be stored on your computer. They will be stored until you delete them.
SRB.at uses the so called session cookie which is needed for using our sites. No personal data will be stored just a random ID. This cookie is only temporarily and will be deleted when you close the browser.
Google Analytics
SRB.at uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of the Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, named “Google” below.
On our web site the IP anonymization applies. The IP address of the user will be abridged within member states of the EU and the EEA and other signatory states of the agreement. Only in isolated cases the IP address will be transmitted unabridged to a Google server in the USA and will be abridged there. Due to this abridgement personalizing your IP address lapses. The user’s IP address transmitted by the browser will not be combined with other data stored by Google.

Newsletter
You can sign up our newsletter on SRB.at and give us your consent for mailing. With submitting the form respectively by clicking the button “register” you give your consent to processing the data you entered to receive the newsletter (Art. 6 par.1 let. A DSGVO). You can unsubscribe after mailing to office@srb.at at any time, particularly via the “unsubscribe link” contained in every newsletter.
For the newsletter mailing, SRB.at uses the services of mailworx. Provider is EWORX NETWORK & INTERNET GMBH, Hafenstraße 2a, 4020 Linz, Austria. mailworx is a service with which newsletter mailings can be organized and analyzed. When you enter data with the purpose to receive a newsletter (i.e. email address) they will be stored at the server of mailworx in Austria. In our contract mailworx undertakes the obligation to protect the data of our customers and not pass them on to third parties.
With mailworx we can also analyze our newsletters. When you open emails sent with mailworx, a so-called web-beacon file contained in the email connects with mailworx’ servers in Austria. The system can thus determine whether a newsletter message was opened and eventually which links have been clicked. Moreover, more technical information will be obtained, like time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system. This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. They only serve statistical analysis of the newsletters.

If you do not want a mailworx analysis you must – as described above – unsubscribe the newsletter. From the moment of unsubscribing, you won’t receive a newsletter anymore. Furthermore, all stored data related to the newsletter will be deleted from our servers and mailworx’ servers after unsubscribing.

How we safeguard ourselves
Technical and administrative measures are implemented to protect your personal data from loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. All our employees and service providers are obliged to adhere to the Data Protection Act.
All gathered personal data will be encrypted before being transmitted. That means that your data cannot be misused by third parties. Our security measures are subject to permanent improvement processes and our privacy policies are continually updated. Please make sure that you are using the latest version.
Your rights
At any time you are entitled to have access to data stored related to your person, including origin and recipient and purpose of data processing. Furthermore, you are entitled to the rectification, erasure, limitation, data portability and revocation in accordance with the legal requirements.
If you suspect that the processing of your data has in any way violated the data protection law or your data protection rights, we kindly ask you to contact us at datenschutz@srb.at first. Beyond that, you have the possibility to lodge a complaint with the responsible authority. In Austria it’s the data protection authority.

Because of new technologies and constant further development of this website, changes to this privacy statement will be done, so we recommend that you read the privacy statement regularly. Fundamental changes will be announced on SRB.at.
